ANDREI NUȚU (b. 1996) is a visual artist whose work establishes a dialogue between various techniques and artistic periods, with a focus on exploring the human figure He is particularly interested in how different artistic periods can merge into a coherent visual language, where symbolism and visual narratives inspired by various epochs find their place within the context of contemporary art. Andrei graduated from the Painting Department of the University of Arts and Design in Cluj-Napoca, during which time he spent a semester at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma. After completing his master’s studies with the project MARTYRS, Andrei settled in Bucharest, where he aims to integrate into contemporary art a technique that has withstood the test of time — fresco.
